The 5th BIOTECH Conference on ‘Single-Use Technologies for Bio-Based Applications’ will take place in Freiburg from 16 to 18 June 2025. The focus will be on new trends in established applications and new fields of application for single-use technologies.
ANZEIGE
The 5th BIOTECH Conference is a continuation of the well-known conference series held at ZHAW in Wädenswil until 2019. Now, the conference will succeed in a new venue in Freiburg / Breisgau (Germany) between June 16th and 18th, 2025.
As in previous years, we are aiming to stimulate interactions/collaborations between academia and industry in the field of single-use technologies for bio-based applications.
This year, focus areas of the conference will be:
Accompanying exhibition of European companies
bioprocess development and manufacture with single-use technology for biotherapeutics, cell- and gene therapeutics and cellular agricultural products
process analytical technologies for single-use devices
device features and facility design
materials and sustainability assessments
Aside of novel trends in established applications, we look also forward for contributions from fields, in which single-use technology as option is just evolving.
Practice orientated:
Accompanying exhibition of European companies
Presentations and Hands-On Demonstrations of Single-Use Equipment
So far, more than 200 participants, evenly distributed among suppliers, applicants and from academia have joined each of the previous BIOTECH conferences. Thus, the conferences served as a unique platform for knowledge exchange, supported by the broad company and academic network of the working group.
